"I have avoided gyro places since I arrived in Greece. Gyro places in Canada are really basic and not good. But Willy’s reconciled me with Greek barbecue. Amazing porc skewers like I’ve never had before! The cherry on the top? The prices. A must try."

"We went to this place with my wife on our first day in Souvala at 9th of September 2024 around 8pm and we deicided to have a try on gyros as we are Greek nationals. First things first, we noticed the prices. Prices were higher than average gyro shops. 3.50€ for a can of coke? And other refreshment drinks were similarly priced and it was a bit ridiculous so we instead went with water which thankfully was normal priced at 0.50€. I cannot force myself to get a coca cola can for 3.50€ when on the supermarket Kritikos which is 150m away from the gyro place costs less than 1€... Anyways. Gyro price at the time of writing this is at 4€ Food wise. I ordered 2 gyros with pork, my wife 1 gyro with pork and we ordered a side of potatoes for 4.50€ which is pricey but hey, what can we do? Gyros were great, big, warm and tasty. A bit pricey for 4€, but acceptable since the size of the gyro beats the price so that is fine. Also, the gyros literally came 3 mins after ordering which was super fast and we were shocked. Service wise, there was a tall guy server and he was super quick with everything. Only thing he lacked was remembering customers needs. For example, we ordered what we ordered, and he didn't bring cutlery to eat the potatoes, and he brought them 5 minutes later which that's a lot of time to bring just 2 forks. Also, he didnt bring us any napkins whatsoever so we resorted in wiping our hands in the wet napkins we had. Maybe he forgot, that's fine, but as a server, you need to have your mind focused at all times and have a look at people's table to see if they are missing anything, or maybe ask them if everything is alright etc. Overall i give it 4 stars, mostly for the prices and for the service which the server lacked the customers needs. Thank you"

"This is a gem, this is a souvlaki house, the staff couldn’t have been nicer, they were really helpful, incredible value. The quality and price were astounding, big portions and better services than in the more expensive restaurants."

"Discovered Gyros while we have been in Greece. Been eating it regularly and rate the ones we got to Willy Grillhouse the best. Got them as takeaways and service was fast. Nice Greek Salad as well. Total cost was $18 Euros. Happy with that."
